United States Army Reserves visits Jorgensen

We had the privilege of welcoming D Company 492nd Civil Affairs Battalion to our school on Friday, January 20th.  They arrived in 5 HMMVV's and had a chance to meet our students and parents.  The students were so excited to talk with the soldiers and they asked them a million questions. After the students went home the soldiers met in our cafeteria to discuss their mission. ... more info

Hispanic heritage was celebrated with great pomp and show at Conchos on October 7, 2011. Students and teachers worked hard to prepare and present their parts. Biographies of Hispanic celebrities, poems, dances, and plays were presented by the Conchos students. Arizona Cardinals player, Rashad Johnson visits our 1st grade

Safeway's program Milk and Cookies partner with the Arizona Cardinals to have players read to our first grade students.  Rashad Johnson read to Ms. Perez's  class.  Afterwards, milk and cookies were provided by Safeway.  Big Red entertained our students with a song and dance.
